Biography[]


The Silent Warrior, the Puzzled Traveler, the Undefeated Vagrant Strategist... Towa's various titles are accurate reflections of her character. She has traveled to every corner of this continent. Towa, who is unsmiling and taciturn, is extremely mysterious in the eyes of others. Nobody knows where she came from or where she will go. She is like a cool breeze passing by. In the blink of an eye, she has started a new journey. Aside from her mechanical partner Shinta, who never leaves her side, nobody can keep up with her.

"The duckweed has no roots, the moon has no shadow..."


Towa's entire story begins on an island that exists on no map. The young Towa awoke to find herself on the beach of a solitary island with no memories of her past. It was there that she met her most important companion, Shinta. The island was a sacred place of stored knowledge left behind by an ancient civilization. As a mechanical life form, Shinta is also a relic of that civilization. In this way, on that isolated island, a person who had lost their past met a relic of a civilization who had lost its future.

"That child, Towa, is the only meaning I have in this world. Don't even think about hurting her, kia-pa-pa!"


In order to survive, under Shinta's guidance, Towa began acquiring knowledge and fighting techniques left behind by the ancient civilization. In this way, the days passed. By the time she had learned everything, Towa was already fully grown. She received the last piece of information left behind by the ancient civilization. It was something that would lead her to their ultimate knowledge Find the meaning of life, find your own path. Happy to have a direction to move toward, Towa decided to leave the island, and Shinta joined her. Thus they began their vagrant journey.

"My own path... My own path... I will find it."


After leaving the island, Towa began wandering across the chaotic world. She knew practically nothing aside from what she had learned on the island, and so she often honed her skills by assisting the weaker sides in random battles. Over time, word of her deeds spread across the land. During her wanderings, Towa came across a village. She helped the Vigilantes of this village to win a battle, and thereby met Ares, who was still a lord-in-training at the time. After this fated meeting, Towa decided to accept Ares as her student, and so took on the role of Tactician of the Vigilantes.

"Ares? That kid certainly is talented. Even Towa acknowledges his strength... Kia-pa! But I don't! Towa is the strongest!"


After her journey with Ares ended, Towa set out in search for her path once again. Soon after, the gates to El Sallia opened to her, and a new path lay before her. Will the legend of the Mysterious Traveler spread throughout the land once more...?

"No matter how big a wave is, it still lies under the boat. No matter how big a mountain is, it still lies under one's feet. The path that I find for myself will depend on the roads I take!"
