Biography[]


A swordsman hailing from Miyamoto Village who fights in the Yagyu samurai tradition. Shibaraku Tsurugibe is accustomed to wielding two Katana and pilots a samurai-style Mashin known as Senjinmaru.

"Hm, I am Shibaraku Tsurugibe, Samurai of Miyamoto Village."


Shibaraku Tsurugibe's personality is bold and unassuming, and he notices even the smallest of details. He meets Wataru Ikusabe in the first realm of Sokai Mountain. Wataru reveres Shibaraku Tsurugibe's swordsmanship, and so requests that he take him on as a student. The two of them develop a strong bond. Owing to his rather wide face, Shibaraku Tsurugibe is often called Hippo by Himiko.


Because of his rather bold and brutish nature, Shibaraku Tsurugibe often falls into traps laid by the enemy, leading to embarrassing situations. But being the only adult in the World Savior's group, he also shoulders the responsibility of guiding Wataru and Himiko. For this he has earned their deep trust.

Shibaraku Tsurugibe's samurai-type Mashin, Senjinmaru, is proficient in melee combat. It can wield two swords. Unlike Ryujinmaru, Senjinmaru only appears when Shibaraku Tsurugibe makes a phone call. As a result, Shibaraku often runs around looking for telephone booths.


Having come to El Sallia, Shibaraku Tsurugibe is still tasked with the duty of guiding the two young warriors. His twin swords and his hearty laugh will leave a memorable mark on this continent.
