Biography[]


His ceremonial crown shines brightly atop the snowy peak, his priestly robes sway in the bitter winds. Amidst the snowflakes dancing in the air, the devotee stands tall and proud. Heeding their call, the spirits of nature gather to form a protective barrier around the mountain, while the Ancestor Spirits bring him divine inspiration, guiding him on the path to salvation. He is Sagani, Priest of the Druidites and Prince of Nolan, and this is how he protects his kingdom.

"The city in the clouds is tall and cold. Great changes will unfold from here."


Unlike his sister Grenshiel, who bears the title of "Valkyrie", Sagani has been frail since childhood and was never allowed to stay outdoors for long. Despite being raised as the heir to the Nolan throne, he is not the true son of the Holy King but rather an orphan chosen by Adankelmo for his ability to communicate with spirits.
Sagani's exceptional spiritual gift coupled with years of devotional practice have enable him to communicate not only with the animal spirits of the snowy mountains, but also to perceive the power of the Ancestor Spirits that lie dormant in the Sacred Grove. Communicating with the Ancestor Spirits is both his duty and his destiny. For this reason, Sagani has undergone strict training involving solitary meditation since childhood under Adankelmo's tutelage.


Sagani has always believed, through the teachings of his mentor, that the revelations of the Ancestor Spirits contain secrets about the truth of the world, and that only through divining these truths can Nolan be delivered salvation.
On top of that snowy mountain, where it is always silent, Sagani sometimes engaged in a minor act of rebellion. Seeing through the eyes of the snow owl he has tamed since childhood, he was able to see everything in the outside world.
But as time went by, Sagani, in his isolation, began to feel confused. If one cannot experience the real world, how is one supposed to reach the universal truths? Would this... really be the universal truths given to him by the ancestors?


The young prophet, under the control of his mentor, continued approaching the so-called "true knowledge". But the more he communicated with the Ancestor Spirits in the Sacred Grove, the more confused he became. Until one day, when the power hidden inside that snow owl showed him the reality of the world.
Yet, every time Sagani was about to break free from the deceit and lies, the hand of a powerful and manipulative conspiracy would erase his discoveries along with his memories - leaving him defenseless and unquestioning.

"My memories seem to be missing large segments. It feels more like some sort of mental disruption than the side-effects of the biological engineering..."


With the arrival of travelers from foreign lands, the truth about Mana and the world at large is gradually emerging, and the prophet who controls the destiny of the continent has torn off the disguise of the conspirator.
As the chaos comes to an end, his life manipulated by false teachings and a malicious mentor crumbles.... When everything he once believed in falls apart, where will Sagani go?
