Raymond appears in various roles throughout the Langrisser series, but appears most prominently as the first King of Elthlead in Langrisser III and Lewin's father.

Elthlead (MSX)[]

Viscount Raymond, later known as King Sieghart, first appears in Elthlead as the King of Elthlead. He leads the army of darkness against King Bozel of the neighboring country, Velzeria. In this game, Sieghart is depicted as a young king, fighting to protect his kingdom from invasion.

Langrisser III[]

In Langrisser III, Raymond plays a crucial role as the lord of the southern region of Larcuss. After Larcuss is devastated by the invasions of Riguler, Barral and Colcia, he rallies the remaining knights and quietly builds up strength in his territory. Eventually, he entrusts Dieharte Klaus with a commando force and leads the main army to reclaim Larcussia from the Empire's forces, led by Bortz. Despite being captured, he is rescued by the protagonist's party. After successfully retaking Larcussia, he establishes the kingdom of Elthlead, ascends to the throne, and adopts the name Sieghart. He later fuses Pasa's sword with his soul, becoming the Langrisser to defeat the demons.

Langrisser I[]

In Langrisser I, King Sieghart is a distant ancestor, known for his legendary feats. His actions in the past have left a lasting legacy, which influences the events of this game. Though not directly appearing, his impact on the story is significant, as his descendants carry on his legacy.

Langrisser II[]

In Langrisser II, Sieghart appears in the King's Path, where he is summoned alongside Ledin in Lushiris' memory. He shows a more lighthearted side, even joking with Jessica about her enduring beauty. However, in the Der Langrisser version released after Langrisser III, his appearance is altered to resemble Viscount Raymond, creating some inconsistency with his previous depiction.

Novel Adaptation[]

In the novel adaptation of Langrisser III, Sieghart's role differs slightly. He never ascends to the throne, instead serving as a respected regent before becoming Langrisser. His actions remain pivotal, but the narrative changes some of the game's more controversial elements, such as Jessica's involvement in his rise to power.

Langrisser Mobile[]

In Langrisser Mobile, he is referred to as Gickhardt. In the Main Story, he is summoned by Olver to assist Yulia in sealing the third blood seal and provides guidance before disappearing, symbolizing a generational transition.
