Langrisser Millennium WS: The Last Centry is a turn-based strategy game that was released in Japan on March 9, 2000. The story is set 100 years before the events of Langrisser Millennium and tells the story of Prince Zion of Salem. Unlike its predecessor, the gameplay of Last Century is much closer to the main Langrisser series, with branching class paths, hiring mercenaries, and even a secret level with the Aniki, however, it was only released for the WonderSwan, a handheld system created by Bandai that was only released in Japan.

Story[]

An organization known as the Federation sent out a secret squad to search the world for ultimate weapons from the remains of a super civilization named Suluktan destroyed hundreds of years ago in a war. After the squad found the weapons, their ship was hit by lightning and became stranded. The leader orders a group of bandits to steal animals from a nearby village so they can carry the weapons by land, but the bandits attack the home of a young boy training as a swordsman and the protagonist of this game, Zion. He drives the bandits off but quickly discovers that there is much more to the story and gets drawn into a conflict between two factions with a branching story.

Langer Millennium WS: The Last Century has 28 missions across two branches following the eighth mission for a total of 18 missions per playthrough.
