General Recommendations[]
- Select Cavalry or Flier Matthew on the Character Creation Quiz at the beginning.
- Sign up for Langrisser's mailing list and follow at least one of their social media accounts for Gift Codes to get free items in the game.
- Progress in the main story until you can access the Summon menu.
- Use the Newcomer Oathsworn Summon banner to get Tiaris, whose enemy-phase healing talent is extremely useful at the beginning of the game, and a DPS hero, such as Elwin or Leon.
Leon and Elwin
- Use Matthew, Grenier, Almeda and other free heroes to help you clear content. Some free SR heroes who retain their usefulness include:
- Watch Kong's Should You Summon series and consult Tier Lists to help you decide what banners to summon on and what heroes to build.
- Consider prioritizing Collaboration banners if you like the heroes on them as these banners are rarely rerun and these heroes do not go into the regular summoning pool.
- The first SSR you pull on each Destiny banner is guaranteed to be a hero on the banner you don't have. This allows you to fill out your roster by avoiding dupes and off-banner heroes.
- After getting access to Equipment, upgrade your SR gear. Level 50 SR gear is more powerful than level 20 SSR gear.
- Complete Secret Realm levels for the daily bonuses every day.
- Unlock the Bonds menu and start challenging SSR heroes' Gate of Fate levels as soon as possible. Sweep these levels daily to increase heroes' star levels.
- Complete the Heroic Journey challenges to get Cherie for free.
- If there are any Collaboration events running, complete the Plot levels and run Team battles with other commanders to collect max rewards as soon as possible.
- Focus your Soldier Training on any +Damage skills and the generic +ATK stat nodes first. Only level the Soldiers you are actually going to use.
- Join a Guild at level 25 and maximize guild sweeps twice weekly for Guild Medals.
- Start completing the Resplendent Conquest levels at level 30 for Trinity Crystals and Trinity Vouchers.
- Conserve limited resources such as Trinity Crystals, Trinity Vouchers, Rune Stones and Challenge Points. Avoid spending Trinity Crystals on the Macho Lotto and other lotteries until you are 100% sure that you need the Grand Prize and can't get it elsewhere.
- Complete new content as it becomes available.
