Biography[]


Born as a mercenary soldier, he is accepted by the ancient Barral King Wilder and conferred the title of general, while also serving as guardian of Princess Freya.
Due to opposing the suddenly mad tyranny of King Wilder, he is accused of being a traitor, and hunted down by an army led in person by Princess Freya. Driven into a corner, he instead turns towards Dieharte, becoming a partner of the liberation army.

"In the end, a loyal and righteous soldier becomes a traitor. What a shame! You would even be wrong!"


Straightforward and forthright, he has little regard for privilege, fame, and wealth.
Seemingly fierce in appearance, his heart beats with a sense of justice.
Born into poverty, he has deep sympathy for civilians displaced by the war.


Under the King's orders, he pursues and attacks Dieharte's troops, but becomes friends with the liberation army on the battlefield.
King Wilder becomes furious due to his failure to complete his mission. Besides rebuking Dios, he orders heavy taxes to be collected on the people.
The long oppressed Dios flees in anger. While being pursued, he is rescued by Dieharte's troops, and thus joins the side of the liberation army.


Due to corroborating that King Wilder's change in behavior is caused by the demons, Dios' conviction for treason is voided.
Returning to Barral after the war, Dios is re-appointed as a general, and eventually promoted to the top military command, becoming Barral's Field Marshal.


Summoned into the present in a daze, having nothing else to do, he takes up arms to support the Swordsmith Legion and makes friends with like-minded heroes of all eras.

"In other words, this is a more stressful job than being a guard!"
