Biography[]


A young knight of the ancient Kingdom of Larcuss, a bold and forthright student of dual swordsmanship. He feel its his responsibility to help in the important task of restoring the country when it was ruined. As one of the original heroes of the world, he witnessed the birth of the legendary sword, Langrisser.
Straightforward and charming, and with a strong heart, he wins the support of many through his boldness, amassing forces for counterattack.

"My treasure? The warm hearts of those who refuse to concede!"


He pursues treasures and women, is bad with directions, likes adventure yet fears trouble, slovenly and flippant. For the sake of freedom, refuses even the throne.
Boastful on the outside, he never concedes defeat, and with his straightforward personality and military power, he gathers a thundering regiment with which to he surround himself.


Relying on his army of the righteous and upright, Dieharte starts fighting to restore his homeland. Successively fighting the Riguler Empire and the former ally Barral, he finally sweeps away the evil demons, creating a respite from years of war.


He has always carried out his mission as a knight. Even though he is successful, he never thinks of himself as a knight.
After the war, Dieharte travels around the lands to further discipline himself, and finally comes to Yamato, the home of Kirikaze, the Eastern Kingdom, he keeps himself on the lookout for more skills and adventures...


He is happy to have become a hero across time and space, believing it to be an opportunity to continue his adventures on heaven and earth. Of course, he still believes that the threat of darkness comes first.

"Waking up, I discover that history is repeating itself and war is the order of the day again. This makes my blood boil!"


After ending the journey to rebuild the country, Dieharte declined to become the king. He followed his heart and started traveling around the world. At the end of his long journey, he met an old friend... Start a new legend in the Far East. Samurai Dieharte has arrived!

Diehärte Klaus is the protagonist of Langrisser III. As a young boy, he dreamed of becoming a knight and at the age of 12 was sent to study swordsmanship and chivalry under William and Gerold in the Kingdom of Larcuss. The game begins with his knighting ceremony.

He is engaged to Freya, a close childhood friend, the daughter of Wilder and the princess of Barral Kingdom. His father was a knight and close friend of King Wilder.

His distinct curved sword, the Kotetsu, was given to him by Kirikaze.
