A defining feature of the Langrisser series is the heroes' ability to change class as they level up.

After reaching certain levels, heroes in Langrisser Mobile can upgrade and master the classes available to them using materials gained from the Time Rift or bought from the Store.

Class Change[]
Each hero has a unique Class Upgrade Tree that defines what classes are available to them. Changing classes may also change the hero's Class Type. A hero can only change class after mastering the class on the tier above it. After mastering two classes and selecting a path, you will need to spend a Rune Stone to change to a class on a different path.
Upgrading and mastering classes also unlocks specific Soldiers and Skills for the hero.
For example, Brenda's starting class is Knight - a Cavalry class. After mastering the Knight class, she can change to Warrior - a Lancer class, Highlander - a Cavalry class, or Raider - an Assassin class. After selecting and mastering the Highlander class, she can advance to the Royal Knight class. She can then spend a Rune Stone to change class to Warrior or Raider and gain the soldiers, skills, and stat bonuses that come with upgrading and mastering those classes.
